about

Ghost Crab:
Ghost crabs are among the fastest crabs tip-toeing across the beach at tremendous speed. When they come to a stop, their pale bodies blend with the color of the sand, and they disappear like ghosts.

Swimming Crab:
Swimming crabs' back legs are flattened and rounded like paddles. These legs move in a figure 8, propelling the crab sideways through the water. Swimming crabs can also use their paddles to burrow into the sand to escape danger.

Rock Crab:
Rock crabs are among several kinds of crabs caught and eaten by humans. Other predators include alligators, shorebirds and a monkey in Southeast Asia called the Crab-eating Macaque.

You also get lovesick musings and a cry for vengence against the neighborhood bully. Definitely the catch of the day. ... more
